NB: These maps are updated daily from live data sets and are checked and corrected retrospectively. They are useful for showing progress with recording and informing viewers about new finds, but they may also contain many temporary errors, especially in grid references and the names of species that are easily mistyped. For checked and standardised maps of species, always refer to publications such as the New Atlas of the British & Irish Flora rather than to online databases.
